In 2023, the Aldergrove Minor Hockey Association proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone, 50 years of hockey in our community. For five decades, AMHA has been more than just a hockey association. It has been a place where lifelong friendships are formed, lessons are learned, and generations of players have discovered a passion for the game. Thousands of young athletes have proudly worn the AMHA crest, representing the values of teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and community spirit both on and off the ice. As we celebrated our golden anniversary, we also welcomed an exciting new chapter with the opening of the Aldergrove Community Centre on August 18, 2023. This state-of-the-art facility represents more than a new arena, it symbolizes the continued growth of hockey in Aldergrove and our commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for future generations of players and families. From our earliest teams in 1973 to today's thriving programs, AMHA's success has been built by the countless volunteers, coaches, managers, officials, sponsors, and families who have dedicated their time and energy to supporting youth hockey.
