TEAM OFFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

All individuals who are interested in Volunteering as a Team Official with the Aldergrove Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) for the upcoming hockey season are required to complete certifications as outlined below prior to being rostered to a team.

These are BC Hockey requirements and we encourage you to get your certifications completed PRIOR to the start of the season where ever possible.

What team positions require certification?

    Coach/Assistant Coach - please visit the Coaching page for more detailed information on the additional courses required Manager HSCP

Verification

Criminal Record Check (CRC)

Required every three years. Modern streamlined online submission process using eCRC verification.

Leadership

Respect in Sport - Activity Leader

Required every five years. Online course reimbursed by AMHA once rostered to a team.

Safety

Concussion Awareness (CATT)

Free online accessibility. No current expiry. Must be completed before the season starts.

CRC Submission Details

There is a new applicant-based online service (eCRC) using the BC Services Card verification. Applicants must provide AMHA Registrar with service # via email to registrar@aldergroveminorhockey.com including full name and DOB. Access Code: Q4DEDS94VG

Hockey Canada (HCR) Profile

If you don't have a profile, email the registrar with your full name, DOB, address, and contact info. Do not register under your player's name. Profile setup must happen BEFORE certifications begin.

What happens next?

Approach your Coach once your player is on a team. If a position is available, your information will be submitted for rostering. You must be rostered for any team role.

Critical Requirements

You MUST have valid CRC, RIS, and CATT certificates BEFORE AMHA will roster you to a team. This information is subject to change.
